This woman named Freddie Robbins is knitting houses of female killers (I almost just typed kittens, which wouldn’t be as… something), which I find super-amazingly-great. I’ve had similar ideas in the past… and I’m glad someone is representing (er, representin’)!

This local artist (photo right) is pretty awesome. I remember hearing her story a very long time ago. In Boston it’s such a small town that it’s always “a friend of a friend told me that they know this girl who…” Anyway, I think it’s really admirable that she jumped back up after her tragic surgery outcome and kept on going with her art.

And, in the non-subversive category, my brother-in-law’s latest print, Don stepped outside, is so beautiful, and so something-I’ve-visualized-a-million-times and am psyched to see it materialize.
