I wonder if there’s any grafedia in Boston yet. I know there are a bunch of letter boxes and dark clouds.

My friend Kate gave us a beautiful kitty named Peanut to keep Kiya company. Peanut’s a ball of energy and keeps Kiya on her toes, for sure. We’re really lucky, Peanut is a kitty that many people love and I’ve had to grant visitation rights to Kate and several mutual friends who miss visiting her at Kate’s.
I took next week off. We were supposed to go to VT, then Quebec, but our trip has been cancelled. I hope I get rid of this cold so we can go snowboarding for a day or two. I think we’ll have to forgo the dogsledding this year.
But that truly would be a dream.
Right now I’m working on Bad Penny (it’ll be a little longer, in blue) and Sean’s cabled scarf, but did put Maeve’s sweater from Weekend Knitting aside for now. I need help, as it’s knit side-to-side (instead of bottom down or top up) and it’s too short. I don’t know what to do so I have to head over to A Good Yarn and get some help.
I made two purchases recently that I’m really happy with. After being inspired by Evany’s extensive search for the perfect bag, I have found my very own. Harvey’s Seatbelt Bag’s buick brown briefcase (scroll down). It’s got tons of pockets and is big enough to carry my laptop and knitting around. It’s not “briefcase-y” at all, and it’s cleanable with a toothbrush. Yay!
I also got some of these guys in anxious anticipation of spring gardening. I’ve been wearing them around the house and they couldn’t be any more comfy.
