I added a bunch of photos to the site last night. Not much news. Just super busy lately — working on a website for a friend who makes stained glass, playing at Great Scott’s on Sunday — set up by Ben at Honeypump. Dan made a great poster. That’s all for now.

We have a new kitty in our life — Zakiya (she came with the name). I will post pics of her soon. She’s super sweet and friendly, but doesn’t understand that we *really* want her to sleep with us. On the bed. She’s a little aloof, but very lovey at the same time.

Jenny and Jeff’s film won Best Documentary at Slamdance, and we couldn’t be more proud.

I just found out I’m getting a new Powerbook so I’m in the market for a sensible and feminine bag in which to carry this device. I’m also at the top of the conga list at Freeipods.com, so hopefully if all my referrals go through I’ll have a new iPod very soon.

Helms recorded our third album’s basic tracks a few weeks ago, so hopefully we’ll record vocals soon and wrap it up. I’m psyched about it, it’s going to sound pretty sick.

I’ve been working on a little sweater for my niece, Maeve, who just turned 1 year old. It’s not going to be knit in Hemp, but I’m really liking the hand-dyed yarn I’m using. It’s magenta, and the color is a bit variegated, so it’s really beautiful.

And also, I’m still on a graphic novel kick — currently reading Blankets, by Craig Thompson, and I really love it’s sadness and beauty.
