Post Xmas

I’m having serious problems cancelling my hotel booking for Park City made by STA Travel — a place I actually worked at for a year and a half . The woman who booked it told me the wrong cancellation rules, now they want to charge me $200 — but I’m not havin’ it. It’s really annoying when people put words in your mouth!

I’m surprised I did’t think to see if Phoebe Gloeckner, author of the amazing graphic novel The Diary of a Teenage Girl had a site until today. She does! I am still having withdrawl from that book, I loved it so and wanted to ride the subway forever just so I didn’t have to stop reading it. It sounds weird but I’m trying not to read A Child’s Life yet because I just don’t want that to end either. Highly recommended, I say!

Sean and I had a mini photo-shoot at home last night for the spot in knit.1 magazine. Their new site is finally up. I did think the first edition was disappointingly trendy. Hopefully the second will be better.

Abel Raises Cain

I finally finished my friend Jenny’s web site for the documentary she’s been working on for six years. And good timing! The documentary has just been accepted to the Slamdance Film Festival. Sean and I are going to try and head out to Park City, Utah for the big event. But the Sundance Film Festival is running at the same time which = no hotel availability!

Looking forward to the holidays… much of my time has been spent helping Jenny, so I am a little behind on my shopping and creating. I did get a chance to visit the very packed Bazaar Bizarre craft fair this past weekend — my friend Mona sold over 50 of her ingenioius animals.
